I use a semi-colon when the direction calls for a specific stitch. k1; p26; k5; etc. I use the commas where directions are repeated, such as (k1,p1) x6. Is that clear as mud?Elainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12064018601058994899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2865395287250465503.post-6292360996569145332011-04-24T05:25:36.098-04:002011-04-24T05:25:36.098-04:00Hi Elaine,

I´m doing the Traditional version and am done with row 11.

Row 12 says:
(k1,p1)x2 Is that k1,p1,k1,p1?

p1, k1 for 32 sts - is that p1,k1,p1,k1...?

What is the difference between the use of comma (,) and semicolon (;)

I´ve tried to find a guide on how to read English recipes but with no luck.

Looking forward to your answer.Berithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01763682206793854591noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2865395287250465503.post-30450883198940640372010-04-08T14:35:07.722-04:002010-04-08T14:35:07.722-04:00Thanks, Elaine!
